Large print runs magnify small mistakes. A clear plan protects your budget and your deadline.
1. Define the specification
Write down size, paper weight, finish, colours, binding and quantity. A precise specification makes quotations comparable and avoids surprises.
2. Prepare print-ready files
Use high-resolution images, CMYK colour, bleed on all sides and outlined or embedded fonts. Print-ready PDF is the safest format.
3. Approve proofs carefully
Check spelling, phone numbers, logos and colours on the proof. For colour-critical jobs, ask for a printed proof.
4. Plan packing and distribution
If items go to several branches, share a distribution list so bundles can be counted and labelled during packing.
5. Leave room for the unexpected
Holidays, approvals and last-minute content changes can affect schedules. Build buffer time before the date you actually need the items.
